Suzie will instruct students on principles of painting ranging from drawing, color, value, composition, color theory, and so much more. Class size is limited to ten students. Join us for 4 inspiring days of painting beautiful gardens, big skies, sailboats, and vintage farmhouses and barns in the quaint southern village of Waverly.
Representational, painterly, impressionistic, and inspiring-these are all perfect ways to describe Suzie Baker’s paintings. Suzie paints with a loose alla prima technique that is always evolving.
Suzie’s paintings have been featured in Plein Air Magazine, and she is the recipient of numerous awards for both her plein air and studio paintings. Suzie serves as President of Oil Painters of America, where she is a Signature Member.
